Information We Collect

- Account Information: Name, email address, and a profile picture (as associated with your Google account). This allows you to personalize your account, and Resumo can notify you of updates. We currently only offer authentication through Google accounts.
- Billing Information: We utilize Stripe for secure payment processing. When you purchase tokens, we store a Stripe identifier associated with your account. - Resume Content: In using our Services, we will collect the information you choose to provide in order to build your resume, such as education and employment experience.The content you create within Resumo is yours. We store it in order to provide our Services.
- Website Interactions: We track website activity (e.g., pages visited, browser type, etc.) to gather analytics data and help us improve Resumo.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- Providing the Service: Your information is necessary to create your resume, store your data, and process payments.
- Customer Support: We use your information to answer your questions or troubleshoot any problems you might encounter.

Security
We employ industry-standard measures like data encryption and use secure data infrastructure providers to safeguard your information. Security is an ongoing priority for us. Account Deletion
You can easily delete your account yourself within your profile settings (near the bottom of the settings page). When you delete your account, your resume data is mostly deleted immediately. We may retain transactional data for auditing, tax, or security purposes.
Data Storage
Resumo is a US-based business, and data is primarily stored in the United States. We keep your data while your account is active. Upon deletion, data is purged from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
CCPA and Your Privacy
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants specific privacy rights to California residents. Resumo currently does not meet the CCPA's thresholds for applicability. However, we are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users and will update our policies as our business grows to ensure compliance.
International Users and Privacy
Resumo is a US-based business. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and stored within the United States. We utilize standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and by other relevant authorities.
